WINNERS: Johnston Press South Business Awards 2016

The Johnston Press South Business Awards were held in Brighton last night, 30th Sept 2017, and people turned up in droves, dressed in their very best attires. This awards ceremony is held every year and this time it was being hosted at The Grand Hotel which located on Kings Road in Brighton. The awards show is meant to celebrate the best of Sussex Coast’s business performers. This is the sixth year since the very first awards event which is organised by JP South Events. Nick Wallis, the presenter from BBC One was there to present the awards.

Speaking about the event, Wallis said that it was fantastic that the awards show was getting as much support as it was and that the enormous support just demonstrated how vital it was for the businesses in the area to be supported even when the economy wasn’t performing at its best. The evening started with a drinks reception and a three-course meal at half past six in the evening. The official handing out of the awards started at half past nine.
