Christmas on the Quay 2026: Conwy’s festive sessions, tickets and visitor guide

Official Christmas on the Quay promotional artwork for Conwy

Christmas on the Quay brings a ticketed festive event to Conwy’s harbour from 18–20 December 2026. Its daytime family sessions and adult evening parties have separate admission arrangements, so choosing the right session matters when planning a visit.

What is Christmas on the Quay?

ConwyFest’s event uses a large marquee on the quay, with festive shopping, food and music. It is a December event in its own right: do not confuse its tickets or dates with another Conwy Christmas fair. Most of the event is under cover, although your approach and part of the visit may still involve being outdoors.

Session times and ticket prices

Family sessions are listed daily at 11am–2pm and 2–5pm. The advertised early-bird price is £3, including a 50p booking fee. Friday 18 and Saturday 19 December also have 6–10pm parties for over-18s, advertised at £5 including a £1 fee. Under-threes enter free, and under-18s must be accompanied by an adult. Each ticket covers one session. The optional £1 charity donation at checkout can be removed.

Families, dogs and access

The organiser welcomes friendly dogs at all sessions. Confirm any Santa activity, age guidance and extra charges on the current booking page rather than assuming every attraction comes with admission. Detailed step-free and accessible-toilet arrangements are not set out on the event page; ask ConwyFest before buying if you need a particular facility. A marquee does not remove the need for warm clothing on a December quayside.

How to get there

Conwy railway station serves the town on the North Wales Coast Line. Transport for Wales describes a short route into the centre via High Street and Lower Gate Street; continue towards the quay using the map below. Check that your chosen train calls at Conwy and confirm the return service, particularly after an evening session.

Parking and making a day of it

Choose a public car park in advance using the local visitor information link, then allow time for the walk to the harbour. Do not assume the event space will be available for parking. If pairing a session with lunch or shopping in town, book around the ticket’s fixed start and finish rather than treating it as an all-day pass. Keep the booking confirmation handy and check the organiser’s latest update before travelling.
