Fylde Coast holiday park’s £750,000 revamp

After a £750,000 investment, Sunset Park Holiday Park will be opening its doors once again this summer with the promise of a better experience for visitors. The upgrades alone have created 8 new jobs as the holiday park’s social club area was completely revamped. The Puddled Duck, the park’s new entertainment complex will now feature a restaurant that specialises in traditional pub food as well as a pub. There is also a sports bar, fitness zone, toddler play area, outdoor children’s play area, indoor Xbox and coffee shop. For the summer months, there is also a beer garden.

The holiday park is owned by the Taylor family who already spent £750000 on five state-of-the-art three and two bedroom holiday lodges back in 2015. For Hambleton residents, there is more good news for them since the Puddle Duck will also be open to them and not just customers of the park. According to a statement from a spokesperson, the owners are quite proud of the work done on the Puddle Duck and believe it would be a shame if the locals were unable to enjoy it as well. The spokesman also stated that the feedback has been great from the locals and that the Puddled Duck is a good addition since the village itself is relatively small. He also added that there’s something there for everyone including families with children thanks to the play areas that have been designed for kids. And for sports fanatics, there’ll be plenty to enjoy on match days at the sports bar.

This business has been in the Taylor family for three generations now since it was started by Michael Taylor 45 years back. Nowadays, the business is run by Sandy Taylor who is currently the managing director.

The Sunset Park Caravan Park is a rural country park but it offers many modern amenities including plenty of family entertainment while still keep the ‘country qualities. It has won many awards and provides a good balance between nature and modern comforts, the sort of things holiday goers are always looking for.

There are many forms of entertainment organized by the park owners including entertainment and cabaret shows for kids. There are many vocalists invited to the park during the holiday season as well as comedians. The park is located at Sower Carr Lane and there are also other interesting places that you can visit nearby such as the Fylde Coast.
