West Country novelist’s library talk

Fans of local author Marcia Willet will be gathering at the Kingsteignton Library later in June where the popular author will be signing a number of books and meeting the readers. The June 27 meeting will start at half past two in the afternoon and the writer will talk about what her life is like as an author and she will also talk about some of her works including ‘Seven Days in Summer’, her most recent book.

The event was put together by the Friends of Kingsteignton Library. Secretary Shirley Hickson spoke about the upcoming event and said that they were a small library in a town that was still growing and this was one of the many events that they will be holding to raise funds so they could improve the facilities in the new extension. Those interested in attending the event can get tickets from the library. The cost is £5 and includes a cream tea. All the proceeds from the event will go towards helping the library.
